             Hye everyone, today I would like to share with you about attraction Terengganu. Because many tourist now very like come to Terengganu to see attractive place . First, I would like introduce to all of you how Terengganu get the name from history. Next, i will show attraction in Terengganu. I hope you enjoy it!

Terengganu (Malay pronunciation: [tərəŋɡanu]; Jawi Terengganu Malay: Tranung, Ganu, Teganu, Ganung, Teganung), formerly spelled Trengganu or Tringganu, is a sultanate and constitutive state of federal Malaysia. The state is also known by its Arabic honorific, Dāru l-Īmān ("Abode of Faith"). The coastal city of Kuala Terengganu which stands at the mouth of the broad Terengganu River is both the state and royal capital as well as the largest city in Terengganu. There are many islands located close to the coast of Terengganu state, such as Redang Island. There are several theories on the origin of the name "Terengganu". One theory attributes the name's origin to terang ganu, Malay for 'bright rainbow'. Another story, said to have been originally narrated by the ninth Sultan of Terengganu, Baginda Omar, tells of a party of hunters from Pahang roving and hunting in the area of what is now southern Terengganu. One of the hunters spotted a big animal fang lying on the ground. A fellow party member asked to which animal did the fang belong. The hunter, not knowing which animal, simply answered taring anu (Malay: 'fang of something'). The party later returned to Pahang with a rich hoard of game, fur and sandalwood, which impressed their neighbours. They asked the hunters where did they source their riches, to which they replied, from the land of taring anu, which later evolved into Terengganu.Terengganu was called Trangkanu (Thai) by the Siamese when it was under their influence. Terengganuans usually pronounce Terengganu as Tranung or Ganu.

              Terengganu, is one of the must-visit states in Malaysia. As a start, it is good to mention that it possesses some of the most magnificent and heavenly islands that everyone should check out. The capital city of Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu is ideal if you would want to be immersed in the state’s customs and traditions.              Terengganu state museum The Terengganu State Museum at Kg. Losong, Kuala Terengganu is the largest museum in Malaysia. The main museum is built on 16 concrete stilts with galleries showcasing textiles and weaving techniques, traditional weapons, crafts, historical, royal regalies, nature, petroleum development, Islamic arts, new generation, and contemporary arts.The other four blocks are adjoined, to represent a large family. At the main entrance of the main complex, lays the famous original Batu Bersurat og Terengganu. 

          Islamic civilization park This new Islamic themed attraction features scaled down replicas of 22 famous historical Islamic monuments from around the world. The park is located on an island near Kuala Terengganu and has family attractions too. It was opened in 2008 on an island in the Terengganu River just 1.2km from the Terengganu State Museum on the outskirts of Kuala Terengganu city. This unique theme park is a away to demonstrate the achievement of Islamic architecture. Besides, it provides an interactive journey of many famous Islamic monuments, including Taj Mahal of India, Al – Hambra Citadel of Spain and 3 others interactive monument.

             Pulau Duyung is an island which is located at the Terengganu River and is accessible by road or boat. It is well known for traditional boat building in Terengganu. Most of these boats are built for the fisherman in Marang. The Custom Made Wooden Yacht on this island is owned by Pakcik Haji Abdullah. He receives order for the boat making from the locals as well as from overseas.

             Bukit Keluang has some of the best coastal scenery in Malaysia with lovely beaches, a walkway along the cliff edge, caves and a hill with superb seaviews. It is located in Terengganu about 6 km south of the town of Kuala Besut which is where travelers catch boats to the Perhentian Islands. I managed to find a steep flight of concrete steps going up the side of the hill and I guessed these led to the top of the hill. The steps ran out after a few minutes climbing but there was a rough path leading up to the summit of this hill.It was a strenuous and sweaty climb but I reached an opening near the top from where there were great views looking out to sea, which was a beautiful turquoise colour that day.

           Redang Island Said to have the world's most mature coral gardens. Very popular for diving snorkelling, beach activities and jungle walking. There are famous wreck sites nearby.

        Perhentian Island Two hilly, jungle covered islands fringed with powdery white sand beaches and surrounded by good spots for snorkelling and diving. Most of the resorts are basic or budget standard.

          Penarik Beach One of the most scenic beaches on the east coast where traditional fishing craft are hauled up onto to the beach next to a sleepy kampung. Has seen some recent storm damage and coastal erosion. 

           Kapas Island A beautiful quiet island close to the mainland with excellent beaches, clear waters and some basic accommodation. The better snorkelling spots are a little offshore and boat trips can be arranged.

             Rantau Abang used to be the place to come at night to watch leatherback turtles lay their eggs. Sadly no more! It is still a very nice beach though. 

           The luxury Tanjung Jara Resort is probably the top resort on the East Coast of Malaysia. If you cannot afford to stay here, the neighbouring public beach has the same coastal views for free.

There are many attractions at Lake Kenyir, Malaysia’s largest lake, but it requires an effort (and a boat) to find them all.

            At Kenyir Elephant Conservation Village you can ride elephants, give them a bath in the river, have a photo with them, enjoy a canopy walk and more. From that, you can get experience with the cute elephant there.

          In conclusion, the state of Terengganu is a place that can be used as a local tourist destination and foreign tourists. Many more places will be introduced so that people can better understand and understand the tourist spots in our country. These tourism and historic places should be kept together in order to maintain the beauty and uniqueness of Malaysia.
